The dilute feed solution is preheated and enters a falling film evaporator for
preconcentration. Recovered dust and fines are dissolved in the hot concentrate
and fed to the evaporator/ crystallizer. Latter is operated as mixed suspension
classified product removal type (MSCPR). The crystals are collected in a
thickener and fed by gravity to a pusher centrifuge the mother liquor is
recycled to the crystallizer heater circiut.
